As many as 44 urban village offices and 8 sub-district offices in Central Jakarta will use the one-door integrated service (PTSP) at the beginning of January 2015. Hence, they are required to have knowledge related to the new system.

Nur Syamsu, Jakarta Provincial Secretary Staff, explained the old system will expire the upcoming December and will be replaced with the PTSP system. The system itself is planned to be implemented simultaneously in six municipalities in the capital.

He disclosed, in accordance with the bylaw No. 12/2013 on PTSP Implementation, the transition preparation from old system towards nwew system will expire the upcoming December where Central Jakarta Administration should first finalize the system to the urban village and sub-district heads in each area.
"Urban village and sub-district heads must have knowledge about PTSP first thus the program can be implemented quickly," he uttered.
Syamsu continued that currently post for PTSP official is still unstable from the provincial to urban village level. "There are still 48 posts unfilled, ranging from urban village to the provincial level. Thus far it's still being processed by Regional Employment Agency (BKD)," he exclaimed.
He added, the PTSP agency will be the only institution that serves all types of licensing and non-licensing. Of the 30 departments and agencies that issue permits, 18 departments and agencies with 45 licenses and non-licenses are revoked. Those SKPDs are Building Control Department, Spatial Planning Department, and Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises and Trade (KUMKMP) Department. "PTSP will also process ID card later," he explained.
Through PTSP system, the city administration plans to impose an online system in order to avoid illegal levies practice in its service.
There are several licensing categories set by the PTSP in accordance with the Law No. 57/2014 on Implementation of Bylaw No. 12/2013 on PTSP Implementation. These licensing include education, health, public works, housing, spatial planning, transport, environment, land under the authority of the region, as well as women empowerment and children protection.
