Jakarta Tourism and Culture Department (Disparbud) is targeting to produce 1,540 new entrepreneurs this year through Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT) program.

We help to promote them by involving them in our activities and events

There are 1,133 people who have registered PKT Program or entering P1 stage per May 15, 2019. Next, 939 people in P2 or training stage and 241 people in P3 or mentoring stage.

"Our target is to facilitate and assist them until they get business permit," mentioned Edy Junaedi, Jakarta Disparbud Head, Thursday (5/16).

PKT Members Receive Culinary Business Equipment Aid

Those participants are divided into two fields, culinary and tourism/culture. Participants who joined culinary field will be directed to be entrepreneur or to have culinary business such as F&B, catering, coffee shop, and restaurant. While participants in tourism/culture field will be directed to work as craftsman, artisan, and art performer.

"We help to promote them by involving them in our activities and events. Such as to invite them to perform in museums or cultural art festivals that we managed," he conveyed.

He considered, PKT program can help them to get experience and chance to be a part in bigger event or bigger market thus they can earn more money.
