AKAP Buses at Pulogebang Terminal Undergoes Ramp Check

Joint personnel conducted ramp check for inter-city inter-province (AKAP) bus in Pulogebang Integrated Terminal, Cakung, East Jakarta, on Thursday (5/16).

Ahead of homecoming p eriod, we need to conduct ramp check routinely to ensure our passengers' safety

In this ramp check, joint personnel from East Jakarta Transportation Sub-department (Sudinhub), terminal management, vehicle testing technician, police, and Transportation Ministry's Greater Jakarta Transportation Management Agency (BPTJ) checked AKAP bus documents, bus body, wheels, windshield, wipers, bus horn, lights, and others.

"Ahead of homecoming period, we need to conduct ramp check routinely to ensure our passengers' safety," mentioned Pulogebang Integrated Terminal Head, Ismanto.

Joint Personnel Hold Ramp Check at Kampung Rambutan Terminal

There are 8-10 joint personnel conducted ramp check on random buses every day. In average, those personnel check around 60 buses per day.

"We still find buses that didn't pass the ramp check. Hopefully, this ramp check can help bus drivers to optimize their buses' performance ahead of homecoming period," he explained.
