Fake Building Permit, Administrative Court Building Sealed

Jakarta Building Control Department sealed a building of State Administrative Court (PTUN), at Jalan Cikini Raya, Menteng, Central Jakarta, The building was sealed due to ownership of fake building permit (IMB).

According to I Putu Ngurah Indiana, Head of Jakarta Building Control Department, the building which has four floors did not have original building permit. "The building permit is fake, and its owner admitted bought it via a broker. We have reported the case to the police," he told, Tuesday (8/26).

He disclosed that his side will remove a seal board placed in front of the building, if the original building permit has been issued. Temporarily, its construction cannot be resumed.

"We stop the construction process of PTUN building temporarily. It could be re-continued if construction technical and its administration is done," he explained.

He uttered that PTUN side had filed building permit to Jakarta Building Control Department. He hoped it could already be issued before the end of this year.

"I've also instructed all Building Control Department staffs to assist the building permit process as soon as possible, considering the PTUN building is financed by the State Budget (APBN). We make sure before the end of 2014 fiscal year, the original permit has been issued," he asserted.
