Violating Permit, Three-Floors Building Dismantled

Due to violating building permit, a three-floors building on Jalan Benda No 1a, RT 05/04, Cilandak Timur Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-District, South Jakarta, dismantled by local Building Supervision and Control (P2B) officers, Wednesday (6/25).

We have released warning letter, but due to not being responded, we seal it to be dismantled and returned to its original building permit purpose as settlement.

Head Section of Pasar Minggu P2B, Sahmad, who monitored the dismantling directly, said that his party had sent an announcement and warning letter to the building owner since last May.

“We have released warning letter, but due to not being responded, we seal it to be dismantled and returned to its original building permit purpose as settlement. However, until this time the owner ignores this thing, eventually some workers were working on the building, we forcibly dismantle today,” said Sahmad, Wednesday (6/25).

The dismantling is done since the building with IMB number 210/IMB/e/2014 has violated the permit. The owner proposed building permit for settlement, not for shophouse or office.

“With today’s dismantling, the residents are hoped to follow the established procedure on construction permit so that the force dismantling won’t happen anymore. Build a building in accordance with the permit released by related party,” added Sahmad.

Based on beritajakarta.com observation on location, joint personnel from TNI, Pasar Minggu Police, P2B officers and South Jakarta Satpol PP secured the dismantling process. The owner did not look on the location during the dismantling process, so did with the building workers.
