Secretary of Jakarta DPRD, Mangara Pardede disclosed such type of official cars is similar with vehicles used by previous council members. "Certainly, the head and vice head will get official car. While for council members, it depends on the executive's decision," he explained, Wednesday (8/27).
DPRD Members' Salary Reaches Rp 30.2 MJakarta DPRD Head and four head vices will get official cars type Toyota Camry. The lowest price is Camry type 2.5 G A/T priced at Rp 511.4 million and highest price is Camry type 2.5 Q A/T priced at Rp 655.8 million. That means, more than Rp 3 billion is needed to purchase five units of sedan cars for DPRD head and four vice heads.
Meanwhile, 101 other DPRD members will use Toyota Corolla Altis. The car is commonly sold at Rp 356,1 million for type 1.8 E M/T 6-speed with highest price at Rp 407 million for type Altis 2.0 V CVT. Rp 40 billion is spend to purchase the car for DPRD members.
Pardede stated that the previous DPRD members have to return official cars. Of the 94 members, 26 out of them have returned their official cars. "The old cars are returned to the executive," he expressed.
Such official cars should be returned to Jakarta Provincial Government in this case the Financial Management Board (BPKD). All vehicles enter to the Jakarta government's assets.
