Occupying Land Illegally, 131 Thugs Secured

As many as 131 thugs were secured by the officers of North Jakarta Metro Resort Police when those thugs did criminal action by re-occupying a land on Jalan Baru, Cilincing, North Jakarta, Friday (8/29). Moreover, it has been worrying local citizens.

We just do securing in a bid to avoid unwanted things

Such securing began when locals gave a report to the police regarding occupation activity of land belongs to a company as wide as 2,000 square meters in Gg 2, Jl Baru Cilincing, RT 04/01, Cilincing. Of the 131 thugs, only 3 of them were detained due to they had weapons. They are identified as UJ (32), RD (46) and DD (23).

 

Thugs Rule Tanah Abang Market Again

"The suspects are from Bogor, Pandeglang Lebak and Sukabumi. There is the issue of land disputes involving the masses. We just do securing in a bid to avoid unwanted things," stated Chief of Detective and Crime Unit for North Jakarta Metro Resort Police, Sr. Comr. Nugroho Azhar, Friday (8/29).

Sr. Comr. Azhar added, the masses allowed to go home after being questioned. As for those who had weapons had to be detained legally.

"The three suspects will be charged under Law No. 1/1951, which carried a maximum sentence of 5 years," he asserted.
