2,506 People in East Jakarta Trained Through PKT

The East Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-agency has trained 2,506 citizens through the Integrated Entrepreneurship Program (PKT). 

It is aimed to create professional entrepreneurs and be able to compete with the outside world

In total, this year, as many as 4,350 people have been registered in the program. The training provided is in the form of culinary, fashion, handicrafts, etc.

Regency to Facilitate PKT Members Distributing Their Products

"It is aimed to create professional entrepreneurs and be able to compete with the outside world," said East Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-agency's Mineral Resources Energy Industry Head, Budi Basuki, Tuesday (7/30).

Those 2,506 people are from six sub-districts, namely Jatinegara, Pulogadung, Matraman, Cakung, Duren Sawit and Pasar Rebo. The rest will be done in August and is targeted to be completed in the upcoming November.

He added that 242 out of them have been assisted in the process of making permits at the local PTSP, such as the small and medium enterprises permit (IUMKM). Even 13 other participants have been helped by marketing their products through various interesting events.

"For instance is marketing products through bazaars, exhibitions and other activities on a large scale," he stated.
