The Jakarta Tourism and Culture Agency is going to hold Djakarta Hobbies N Sport Exhibition at Bende Ancol Field, North Jakarta, which falls on August 23-25.

Those communities will compete for a total prize of Rp 200 million in skateboarding, BMX, Inline Skate, tamiya, lego, concave, archery, wakeboard and drone race.

"This event is the first time and our this year's main agenda. We chose Ancol because we need a large place for accommodating participants," he expressed, Tuesday (8/20).
He tells it acts to introduce special interest destinations to the public, which means that community-based hobbies and sports can also be used as alternative destinations besides tourist attractions and entertainment.
Jakarta Destination and Marketing Division Head, Hari Wibowo uttered it is open for public a.k.a free of charge. Besides competition, there will be attractions, market places, culinary and entertainment.
"For the long-term, we want make it to be an annual agenda, especially for sport communities in Jakarta," he stressed.
In addition to attract more tourists, it can also be silaturahmi (gathering) and unite one community with another.
"This year we target to hit 3,000 visitors every day," he said.
