This collaboration was hoped could be in line with the Jakarta Healthy Living Community Movement (Germas) in a bid to directly reach people and make a more comprehensive detection in Jakarta.

Jakarta Health Agency Head, Widyastuti assessed more than 400 integrated health counseling posts (Posbindu) had been set up in all urban villages. They would strengthen health networks and promote healthy lifestyles to diabetics.
"We use them (Posbindu) to make people know their health status, especially blood sugar. At least it can be through screening to detect its risk numbers. We also strengthen health service through community health centers (puskesmas), hospitals, health cadres and citizens," she asserted.
She went on to say that the city would also issue policy implications for the healthy lifestyle of its citizens, to intensify preventive measures against diabetes, such as sports festivals and so forth.
"Our lifestyle must be healthy, to cut the risk of diabetes including its prevalence rate," she uttered.
So the conclusion is this cooperation is hoped to realize a tight work between public and private stakeholders in implementing long-term solutions to prevent diabetes and providing treatment for people living with diabetes in urban areas.
