South Jakarta Mayor, Marullah Matali, officially opened the small-medium industry (IKM) Creative Product 2019 on the courtyard of his office, Jalan Prapanca Raya, Petogogan Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district, on Tuesday (9/10).

"We take theme "Creative, Innovative and Independent Industries". It is participated by 64 IKM players," he expressed.

His party appreciated its implementation initiated by the South Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-agency.

"I see a new format and innovation. Hopefully this can be developed and get a good response from the community," he expressed.

He also wanted the local urban villages and sub-districts to support them by involving coached entrepreneurs in any event that requires culinary products, either food or drink.

"All products can be cooperated with SKPD/UKPD as needed," he explained.

South Jakarta Industry and Energy Su-agency's Industry Division Head, Zulkarnain Nasution added the event will be held on September 10 until 14.

"Most IKMs here worked in the field of soap products, fashion, food and crafts," he exclaimed.

One of IKM players from Tebet, Nur Alam admitted he was grateful to be involved in the event.

"Hopefully my soap product sales could continue to expand thus our industry is growing and absorbing more workers," he said.
