We have ticketed 16 public transports in the PGC Kramatjati area. We are routinely doing this in various places

According to Budi Sugiantoro, Head of Supervision and Control Section for East Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department, the raid is routinely held because of until now many public transports park or stop, pick up and drop off passenger illegally, not wearing uniform, until not having driver ID card (KPP).

"We have ticketed 16 public transports in the PGC Kramatjati area. We are routinely doing this in various places," he expressed.

Illegal Parking, 71 Vehicles in West Jakarta Ticketed

Those ticketed public transports consist of 7 Mikrolet 06 minivans (Kampung Melayu-Gandaria) and 9 units of KWK (Koperasi Wahana Kalpika). They had to be ticketed because of they park illegally, particularly on the west and south sides of the PGC. No wonder, traffic congestion happens on Jalan Dewi Sartika and Jalan Letjen Sutoyo. Additionally, about 5 KWK drivers did not wear uniform and have no KPP.

Base on beritajakarta.com observations, starting from morning until night, many public transports are parking on the south and west sides of the PGC, causing congestion on Jalan Dewi Sartika, from Kampung Melayu towards Kramatjati.
