9,600 Job Seekers Participated in Two Job Fairs Held in North Jakarta

As many as 9,600 job seekers participated in Job Fair held by North Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration (Nakertrans) Sub-department, on August 21-22 and September 4-5.

North Jakarta Nakertrans Sub-department Acting Head (Plt), Galur Prasiwi stated the first Job Fair is held at Smart Club with total 4,000 job seekers and second is held in Jakarta Islamic Center (JIC) with total 5,600 job seekers.
"We have noted 145 participants who have worked from the first job fair. While we are still recapitulating data for the second job fair," he asserted, Tuesday (9/24).
Job Seekers Appreciate Job Fair in Central JakartaThe third Job Fair is held on September 24-25 at WTC Mangga Dua, Pademangan, with total 2,447 job opportunities from 44 companies.
"There are 2,447 job opportunities in the third job fair. This time, we are not targeting number of job seekers who participate in this event," he added.
North Jakarta Mayor, Sigit Wijatmoko said, Job Fair is always full of job seekers from various places, not only from North Jakarta. Thus he hopes companies who are participating in this event to prioritize job seekers from North Jakarta.
He also reminds the participants to improve their competence and skill thus they have high values and able to compete well with the others.
"They can improve their potential by joining PPKD or Job Training Center held by Nakertrans Department. Maybe, it can open their opportunities to have their own business," he conveyed.
