Dry Season, City SDA Prepared Personnel and Facilities to Distribute Clean Water

Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Department sets up water storage tanks in category of Potential for Drought during this long dry season.
We have prepared 10 tank car units to reach areas that need clean water supply
Those water storage tanks are located in pump houses in 15 sub-districts of Menteng, Gambir, Kemayoran, Tanah Abang, Cilincing, Tanjung Priok, Koja, Kelapa Gading, Penjaringan, Tebet, Pasar Minggu, Setiabudi, Makasar, Pulogadung, and Cipayung.
Jakarta SDA Department Head, Juaini Yusuf stated, water storage tanks and stationer pumps are prepared in those locations to fulfill residents need of clean water.
City Deploys Clean Water Personnel as Drought Anticipation"It has capacity around 2,000 liters. Each water tank is equipped with stationer pumps. We have ask PAM Jaya to supply water in the tank," he explained, Thursday (9/26).
He explained, SDA Department also prepared 10 units of tank car to distribute clean water to the clean water emergency areas.
According to PAM Jaya's data, there are 41 urban villages or 15.47 percent from total urban villages in Jakarta that not yet served by PAM water network and 4.15 percent that are categorized Potential of Drought.
Those urban villages are Kapuk Muara, Kamal Muara, Pondok Rangon, Munjul, Cilangkap, Setu, Bambu Apus, Ceger, Lubang Buaya, Kebon Pala, and Halim Perdana Kusuma.
"We have prepared 10 tank car units to reach areas that need clean water supply. We will directly visit the areas based on information and data from BPBD and mayor," he added.
Meanwhile, SDA unit personnel will be also prepared to optimize clean water distribution process to the residents.
"Each SDA Sub-department in city administratives have 100-800 personnel in units that are deployed up to sub-district area. Later, our units will manage water distribution pattern," he mentioned.
