400 Schools in West Jakarta Socialized About Prevention of Violence Towards Children

West Jakarta Empowerment, Children Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) Sub-department intensifies socialization about preventing violence against children in schools.

Our target is 482 schools

West Jakarta PPAPP Sub-department Head, Unas Affandi stated, this socialization will be given to teachers, school committees or student's parents. Through this socialization, his side wants to explain that violence is not only related to physical such as hitting or punishment to stand under the sun, but it can also be a rude words and others.

"Currently, we have given socialization to 400 schools. Our target is 482 schools," he mentioned, Tuesday (10/1).

West Jakarta Provides 6 Violence Complaint Posts in RPTRAs

His side informed, those 400 schools vary from elementary, junior high, up to senior high school. Socialization is given every week in four activities. There are 55 representatives from 22 schools who are invited for each activities.

"It remains 82 schools in Tambora Urban Village. Our target is to finish it in October," he asserted.
