South Jakarta Holds Free Vaccination for Animals Until October 3

The South Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-agency is cooperating with the Indonesian Veterinarian Association (PDHI) to hold a free vaccination service for animals infected rabies.

This is one of the concrete steps to maintain the title of Rabies Free Jakarta since 2004

The service that takes theme 'Completed Vaccination, Free Rabies' has been opened since today until October 3.

According to Yuli Absari, Acting Head of South Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-agency, it  is also held to commemorate the World Rabies Day that falls on September 28. 

City to Hold Free Rabies Vaccination for Animals on October 1-9

Here are locations that hold free vaccination services:

1. First Day, Tuesday (10/1)

- In RW 02, Pondok Pinang, Kebayoran Lama

2. Second Day, Wednesday (10/2)

- In the Bumi Karang Indah Lebak Bulus Housing Complex

- Sawo RPTRA 

- Cipete Utara RPTRA 

- Kebayoran Baru RPTRA

- Mampang Prapatan RPTRA

3. Third Day, Thursday (10/3) 

- In the Pesanggrahan Puspita Housing Complex, RW 02, Tanjung Barat, Jagakarsa 

- In RW 02, Pengadegan, Pancoran

"This is one of the concrete steps to maintain the title of Rabies Free Jakarta since 2004. The active role of the community is the key to success in maintaining it," she stated, Tuesday (10/1).

South Jakarta Economic and Development Assistant Mukhlisin hopes the wider community can use this service well.

"It is also to help them in providing services to their pets," he said.
