Jakarta Library and Archive Department (Dispusip) raises theme of Nationalism for its activities throughout October 2019.

Through this theme, we want to encourage them to grow and maintain their nationalism

Jakarta Dispusip's Library and Reading Interest Cultivation Department Head, Suryanto conveyed, nationalism is selected for this month's theme because there are various events in this month that can arouse the spirit of nationalism such as National Day of Pancasila Sanctity and Youth Pledge Day.

"All literacy activities in Dispusip are held to arouse the spirit of nationalism through reading interest," he mentioned, Wednesday (10/2).

According to him, this theme is not only selected to grow people's love for the nation, but also to educate people about events in the past by raising collective historical awareness through literacy approach.

"Through this theme, we want to encourage them to grow and maintain their nationalism," he added.

Each Pusip Sub-department in Jakarta regions will hold literacy tourism activities and others that related with this theme.

"Dispusip will held Literacy Festival on October 17-18 October," he conveyed.
