City Provides Special Webpage to Promote Sanggar in Jakarta

The Jakarta Tourism and Culture Agency provides a special webpage, disparbud.jakarta.go.id/sanggarseni as a means of promotion and database of studios locally known as sanggar in Jakarta.

The way is each studio can simply register and enter studio profile on the special page such as, the name and address of the studio, membership, experience, documentation of activities, etc.

"The information and data provided is very accurate, as it is filled by the studios," said Jakarta Tourism and Culture Agency's Cultural Arts Division Head, Gumilar Ekalaya, Friday (10/4).

He explained the more works of art or experience that is included will certainly be of particular interest value for prospective users of studio services.

"They can update their information in the webpage, starting from activities, creations and works," he explained.

It will facilitate the agency to collect studios data without having to visit one by one.

"This is one of our efforts to make it easy for the studios and those who need its services," he stressed.

In addition, the agency can do a mapping of studios starting from the types of arts, the distribution of studios in the area, including studio infrastructures. They will be easy to conduct coaching and empowerment of studios in Jakarta.

"We'll know the number of studios in Jakarta, such as Betawi, Sundanese or Central Java, including its distribution, number and age of members until facilities and infrastructure," he explained.

He added the agency is about to continuously intensify socialization related to the webpage.

"It will also be optimized through the Tourism and Culture Sub-agencies in each region," he closed.
