Engineers Wanted! Apply Now

The civil servant candidates (CPNS) recruitment for Jakarta Provincial Government is now opened. As many as 1,133 new human resources are needed to replace civil servants who are about to retire. From that amount, elementary school (SD) teachers and graduates from engineering are needed the most.

“Jakarta is lacking of many engineers. We are looking for people who understand KLB (Floor Area Ratio) and building volume,” stated Head of Jakarta Personnel Board (BKD), I Made Karmayoga, at City Hall, Monday (9/8).

According to Karmayoga, engineers are needed most because Jakarta Public Works Department will be broken into two departments, namely Highways Department (Bina Marga) and Water Management Public Works Department. The amount of manpower needed is 372 people.

City Gets Additional 1,000 CPNS Formations

As for teachers, Jakarta needs 350 people. SD teachers are mostly needed to be placed in Seribu Islands Regency. In addition, Jakarta Provincial Government also needs manpower to optimize the One-door Integrated Services (PTS) unit. Later, PTSP officers will be spread to 267 urban villages, 44 sub-districts, five municipalities, and one regency.

“We need about 1,700 people for PTSP. This year, the formation opened for it is only 300,” told Karmayoga.

As reported previously, Jakarta Provincial Government gets additional 1,000 CPNS formations. The formations consist of 10 health sector formations, 81 administration formations, 320 economy sector formations, 350 education sector formations, and 372 technical sector formations. Since Thursday (9/4), these formations can be seen publicly on www.panselnas.menpan.go.id.

“There is age limit as well. The limit age for postgraduate (S2) is 35 years old maximum per September 1, 2014, undergraduate or bachelor (S1) 33 years old maximum per September 1, 2014, and Diploma III (D3) 28 years old per September 1, 2014,” informed Karmayoga.
