I would like to say happy anniversary to soldiers, officers and families of TNI

Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan attended in the Indonesian National Army (TNI)'s 74th anniversary, on Saturday (5/10). He appreciated all soldiers and officers as the frontline in the national defense.

"This morning I was at the memorial service of the TNI's 74th anniversary, I would like to say happy anniversary to soldiers, officers and families of TNI," Anies expressed, after he attended in the a marriage reception at Jalan Lebak Bulus Dalam II, Cilandak Barat Urban Village, Cilandak, South Jakarta.

He explained the TNI began as a people's army and young people who dedicated their lives to the Republic of Indonesia. They face grave risks and challenges in protecting the Unitary Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).

"I'm sure they come from families who love Indonesia, as they allow their children to become soldiers and officers. I would also like to thank families who have allowed family members to be at the forefront of our county defense," he uttered.

He hoped that the TNI would become more victorious, advance, as well as become an example and take root in the community.

"Hopefully more prosperous, more advanced, have more sophisticated primary weaponry defense system (Alutsista) and its personality becomes a role model, "he hoped.
