DPRD Provides Free Health Services Through Posbindu

Posbindu is open once a month on the second floor of the Jakarta Council Building

The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) provides free health services inside its office through an integrated health counseling post (posbindu).

Jakarta DPRD Health Executing Unit Responsible Person RR Yuliani Hendraswari expressed this service is for non-communicable diseases (PTM).

Posbindu Healthcare Service in Srengseng Enthused by Locals

"Posbindu is open once a month on the second floor of the Jakarta Council Building. It operates from 8 AM to 11 AM. To enjoy it, every person must do registration first and will be continued with height and weight checks," she expressed, Thursday (10/24).

Afterwards, they will undergo a series of examinations in a simple laboratory including blood sugar (GDS), blood pressure, gout, total cholesterol and triglyceride (TG).

"Especially patients with certain lab results, they can conduct further check up to us or be referred," she explained.

One of employees around the DPRD, Ahmad appreciated it.

"This is very useful for those of us who have never done PTM early checks. Moreover, it can be done without the need to leave our place of work," he stated.
