Tens of Cubic Meters of Waste Cleaned from Untung Jawa Island Mangrove Park

This is our effort to realize clean beaches, seas and waters

Besides Lancang Island, the Thousand Islands District administration holds a cleanup action in the Mangrove Park, Untung Jawa Island, on Friday (10/25).

Thousand Islands Regent Husein Murad said it is participated by 100 joint officers of ASN, PPSU, Satpol PP, Fire and Rescue Sub-agency assisted by the locals.

"This is our effort to realize clean beaches, seas and waters. Before doing this, we had held a ceremony and cycling together," he expressed.

They have managed to collect waste up to tens of cubic meters and then disposed to the temporary waste disposal (TPS) before being transported to the boat.

"The islands must be a tourist island loved by many people with clean the island, including its island," he said.
