Enjoying Weekends in Pramuka Island's Mangrove Park

Mangrove Park in the eastern coastal of Pramuka Island, National Park, Seribu Islands can be one of the best places to spend the weekends for urban residents.

In this Mangrove Forest, visitors can have a fresh air, walk along the park while enjoying the seascape

Mangrove Park can be an interesting spot for visitors to have self-portrait photographs while enjoying its fresh air and exotic nature.

Untung Jawa Island's Mangrove Forest Cleaned

Seribu Islands National Park's Forestry Functional Technical Ecosystem Control officer, Deden Heksa stated, Mangrove Park which is located in Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands Sub-district has 3,000 square meters wide.

"In this Mangrove Forest, visitors can have a fresh air, walk along the park while enjoying the seascape," he mentioned, Saturday (11/24).

He explained, Mangrove Park has been opened since last year. There are at least 300 people who visit this place every weekend.

Visitors can take a picture at park's icon which is located at the end of this park. Besides, they can enjoy a beautiful forest view or under the sea around Mangrove Park.

"Sunrise also can be seen clearly from this park," he expressed.

Seribu Islands Regency and his side plan to build gazebo, culinary spots, and add more lights in this area soon.

Because some visitors come to fish rabbitfish (baronang lingkis) and milkfish (bandeng) at night.

"Some of them also fish belanak and white snapper fish," he added.

Seribu Islands Regent, Husein Murad stated, he will coordinate with Seribu Islands National Park to discuss about tourism development plan in Mangrove Park and Pramuka Island regarding the plan to build gazebo, culinary spot, and souvenir center next year.

"This is done to increase tourist visits to Seribu Islands," he conveyed.
