Headmasters and Teachers Trained to Assemble Robots

Fast development of information technology (IT) makes North Jakarta Scouts cooperates with North Jakarta Elementary Education Sub-Department, and holds robot assembling training. As participants, they are headmasters and teachers in all over North Jakarta.

According to Head of North Jakarta Elementary Education Sub-Department, Syamsu Arifin, headmasters and teachers must have knowledge on the latest technology, especially which relates to robotics. The training itself is held in two phases on this Wednesday (9/10) and Wednesday (9/17).

“The development of IT is very fast. Their knowledge should not be ahead of the students, because teachers must know first than their students. If the teachers were worthy, it could be said that robotics technology development in our country is a step ahead of previously,” he stated.

Jamaludin (31), one of the teachers who joined the training, admitted happy joining the training. Although it is complicated, he enjoyed the process of assembling robots which taught by the trainers.

“It’s exciting, but quite difficult. It is normal getting difficulties at first,” he expressed.
