Head of Supervision and Control Section, West Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department, Imam Slamet expressed his sub-department cannot work optimally in implementing towing sanction because of lack of tow trucks.

He revealed, Transportation Department is still preoccupied with sterilization against illegal parking-prone areas, such as Kota Station (Beos), Jalan Kyai Tapa, Grogol and Jalan Jembatan Lima. According to him, after those were sterilized, similar raid would be held in other areas.

Head of Jakarta Parking Technical Management Unit, Sunardi Sinaga explained around 400 points of on-street parking, which is the authority of Jakarta Transportation Department.

"For now, we're still evaluating on-street parking that would be abolished. Perhaps, its existence reaches tens of points, like Jatinegara, East Jakarta," he stated.
