The Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village Management (UPK PBB) is set to develop the Setu Babakan PBB in Srengseng Sawah, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, to be come a leading tourist destination.

To support it, they hold a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) about the Development of the Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village.
It is participated by 50 participants who are representatives of the Tourism and Culture Agency (Disparbud), related SKPD/UKPD, Betawi Cultural Institute, Betawi Cultural Village Jibang Forum, cultural figures and academics.

It is also to get information and idea about Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village to be used as material for planning development activities that are the main tasks and functions of each SKPD.
"This study results will encourage the construction master plan in Setu Babakan comprehensively, but not partial. But it becomes an integrated unit involving related SKPD according to their respective duties and functions," he expressed, at the FGD location, one of hotels in Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Thursday (11/21).
He details a series of activities in this FGD is namely presentation of speakers from various fields, discussion and gathering input from the participants and SKPD, as well as the formulation of FGD results.
Then for the materials given are Tourism and Creative Economic, PBB Landscape, History and Culture of PBB, PBB Social Environment, Spatial Planning and PBB Architecture.
"We want to solve and answer various problems that exist development of the region in the future. With this study, we will make recommendations," he explained.
He added the next FGD is slated on December 3 and will involve the Setu Babakan citizens to collect input related to its development.
"On the second day, we'll ask for its opinion with the results of the study that we will recommend. We want to combine from the current and after discussion," he told.
Hopefully the Setu Babakan could become a leading destination in Jakarta, which was cultured and educative to provide its own benefits and experience for visitors who came.
"Access, attractions, as well as facilities and infrastructure must be of good quality, become a unity and a reference for Betawi culture. This is about preservation of culture and creative economy," he stated.
