Setu Babakan Anniversary, Free Parking Lot in Zone A for Visitors

It is based on the mandate of Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan

Welcoming the Setu Babakan's 19th anniversary celebration event today, the parking lot in the Setu Babakan Zone A, Jalan Moch Khafi II, Srengseng Sawah Urban Village, Jagakarsa Sub-district, South Jakarta has been made free for visitors.

"It is based on the mandate of Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan. While for a parking lot in the lake area is indeed managed by local citizens," expressed Setu Babakan Management Unit Information Service Executing Unit Head, Bayu Permana, Sunday (9/15).

It is aimed to attract more visitors who want to visit and enjoy the celebration event.

Aside that the event will be enlivened by 19 pieces of tumpeng (cone-shaped yellow rice with side dishes) from citizens, managers and the Assessment and Development (Jibang) forum that will be distributed free to visitors.

"These tumpeng cones are symbolic of the the Setu Babakan's age," he told.

Thus far his side is currently still collecting collections from people and figures that have collections of historical objects or related to Betawi to be donated as museum collections.

"We have entered the planning stage of the museum's exhibition. Hopefully the Setu Babakan educational tourism site will have more visitors," he hoped.
