Kotawaringin Barat DPRD Holds Work Visit to East Jakarta

As many as 16 legislators of Kotawaringin Regency Council (DPRD), Central Kalimantan carried out a comparative study about waste management at East Jakarta Mayor Office, Tuesday (12/3).

Through this work visit, we hope waste treatment and its budget can be better in Kotawaringin Barat Regency

In this visit, Kotawaringin Barat Regency DPRD Legislators and Chairman, M. Rusdi Ghozali were received by East Jakarta Assistant in Economy and Development, Syofian Taher.

On that occasion, both discussed various things, especially regarding waste management and hazardous and toxic (B3) materials.

Jakarta Legislators Taught About Legislative Tupoksi in Bimtek

Taher conveyed that his gratitude for their visit and have chosen East Jakarta as a location to hold comparative study. This work visit was done to share information and experience about managing hazardous and toxic waste in East Jakarta.

"Through this work visit, we hope waste treatment and its budget can be better in Kotawaringin Barat Regency," he stated.

Kotawaringin Barat DPRD Chairman, M. Rusdi Ghozali added that this work visit was done to compare about B3 waste management in hospitals and communities.

"Result from this work visit will be discussed further with executives in Kotawaringin. Thus hopefully, we can implement things that we learned from East Jakarta in Kotawaringin Barat," he explained.
