The Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands keeps intensifying compost production at the urban village waste disposal site (TPS).
Tidung Island Urban Village Head Cecep Suryadi disclosed, it is done once a week through the PPSU members.

Its production uses organic waste as the basis for dry compost. After that the compost results will be packaged in a plastic bag and then used as a planting medium for fertilizing plants in the urban village office and RPTRA.
"Compost fertilizer is also distributed to the public for free thus they want to grow crops and create a green environment in their yard," he stated.
