South Jakarta Has Executed 48 Parenting Activities

This education is important for the parents

The South Jakarta Library and Archives Sub-agency has executed 48 parenting activities in the Child-friendly playgrounds (RPTRA), reading parks (TBM) and schools this year.  

It was done by collaborating with the Indonesia Theraplay and Rainbow Castle Community, which acted as resource persons.

"This education is important for the parents, which aims to smoothen the communication between the parents with their children for harmonious relationships," expressed South Jakarta Library and Archives Sub-agency Functional Librarian, Norma Tridiana, Saturday (12/21).

During the activities, the parents were given an understanding not to leave the routine of communicating and playing with children.

"They also have to divide the play schedule together and maintain small concerns," she stated.

As for the information, the 48 parenting activities are divided into four quarters. The first quarter conducts 10 activities, second quarter conducts 20 activities, third quarter conducts 17 activities and fourth quarter conducts 1 activity.
