PAUD Teachers in North Jakarta Learns About Parenting

As many as 120 teachers of 60 early childhood education programs (PAUD)s in North Jakarta participated in Isi Piringku program and parenting socialization. This socialization purpose is to educate participants about the importance of nutritious foods and early parenting.

Let the children to develop their skills. Teach them to interact with the others

North Jakarta Vice Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim explained, education about nutritious foods and parenting should be given massively to the public in order to create a smart and healthy generation.

"Knowledge about nutrition and parenting should be known by people that relate with children, such as PAUD teachers who have access to toddler parents," he mentioned, Wednesday (11/20).

He expects PAUD teachers can work together with Posyandu. Thus toddler development can be comprehensively monitored.

According to him, each children has different characteristics. Thus teachers and parents are encouraged to know their own potentials and prepare things to support an optimal development for children.

"Let the children to develop their skills. Teach them to interact with the others," he said.
