The Thousand Islands District administration wants its residents to enjoy a merrier New Year's Eve celebration by presenting a variety of entertainment, ranging from modern music to traditional arts typical of Tidung Island, which will be held in the Love Bridge area.
Cucu Ahmad Kurnia, Head of Thousand Islands Tourism and Culture Sub-agency said the entertainment theme this year is Tidung Eksotis 2019 initiated by the local urban village Karang Taruna together with the Tidung Island travel community.

"We are targeting 10,000 local and foreign tourists here, moreover we have a lot of new tourist and selfies spots on the settlement islands," he said.
Rojiun Hamid, Chairperson of Tidung Island Urban Village Karang Taruna added a beach clean-up action will be held in 2020 in order to keep the island clean and comfortable.
