Saefullah: This Year's Budget will Be Better than Last Year

Budget absorption per day is about 77.98 percent

City Secretary Saefullah is optimistic that this year's budget absorption to be better than last year.

Up to December 31, the budget is targeted to hit 83.42 percent compared to last year's budget, which reached 81.78 percent, or Rp 61.29 trillion from the target set by Rp 83.2 trillion.

"Budget absorption per day is about 77.98 percent. Our plan will be executed at 83.42 percent," he expressed, at Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (26/12).

He details 77.98 percent consists of direct expenditure by Rp 32.9 trillion from the target set by Rp 44.5 trillion and indirect expenditure around Rp 28.9 trillion from the target by Rp 33.2 trillion.

"Hopefully, at 7 PM dated on December 31, we should have closed the book and balance," he stated.

As for the information, this year's budget is set at Rp 86.8 trillion. Its amount consists of direct expenditure by Rp 32.9 trillion and indirect expenditure by Rp 28.9 trillion, as well as financing expenditures of Rp 9.03 trillion.
