Today, BMKG Predicts Rain to Fall in Most Jakarta Regions

Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicted rain starts to pour from morning in parts of Jakarta.

In a fternoon, moderate rain expected to fall in South Jakarta and East Jakarta while light rain in Central Jakarta, West Jakarta and North Jakarta

BMKG's Public Relation Head, Taufan Maulana stated, light rain is expected to pour in Thousand Island and North Jakarta this morning.

"In afternoon, moderate rain expected to fall in South Jakarta and East Jakarta while light rain in Central Jakarta, West Jakarta and North Jakarta," he explained, Tuesday (12/31).

Rain Predicted to Pour Parts of Jakarta From Afternoon

Tonight, moderate rain is potential to fall in South Jakarta, East Jakarta, Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, and North Jakarta.

"Rain will also fall in North Jakarta and Thousand Islands at tomorrow's dawn," he conveyed.

Temperature could reach 24-32 Celsius degree with humidity 75-95 percent. Wind blows from west to north within 05-25 kilometers per hour.

"Be prepared of rain accompanied with lightning and strong wind that is potential to occur around this afternoon and night in South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and Central Jakarta," he asserted.
