Central Jakarta Vice Mayor Monitors Flood Victims Evacuation

Central Jakarta Vice Mayor Irwandi directly monitors a number of flood spots and the evacuation of flood victims in Cempaka Putih, Johar Baru and Tanah Abang sub-districts.

He stated, in Cempaka Putih, there are three spots, such as two are in Cempaka Putih Barat Urban Village and another in Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village.

In Johar Baru, there are two spots in Johar Baru Urban Village and Tanah Abang has four spots in Bendungan Hilir Urban Village.

"We have evacuated flood victims to a safe place, including have prepared logistic and health service," he expressed, Wednesday (1/1).

Based on the field monitoring results, Cempaka Putih has 57 refugees who have been evacuated to the SD Islam At-Taufik Buidling and Al Falah Mosque, Johar Baru has 140 refugees who are evacuated to Al Falah and Al Ijtihad mosques.

"Tanah Abang has 150 refugees who have been evacuated to Al Islah and Al Falah mosques, Bendungan Hilir Urban Village," he told.

Therefore he wants local government to quickly be alert in helping citizens.

"Stay alert and careful in doing your duties," he stated.
