1,420 Cubic Meters of Waste Transported from Manggarai and Kampung Melayu Gates

Until Thursday (2/1) at 11 PM, the 20 officers of Jakarta Environment (LH) Agency has managed to pick up 1,420 cubic meters of waste left by flood in Ciliwung River. It is conducted at the Manggarai and Kampung Melayu sluice gates, East Jakarta.

"To Manggarai Sluice Gate, we sent two long arm excavators and one handler crane libeler excavator plus 20 officers, with details small-sized typer transports 15 rits, big-sized typer transports 2 rits and Alkal SDA transports 40 rits," expressed Jakarta LH Agency Head, Andono Warih.

Then at Kampung Melayu Sluice Gate, there are two long arm excavators and one spider excavators plus 20 officers.

"Up to 11 AM, waste cleaning is done through small-sized typer transports 35 rits, big-sized typer transports 46 rits, tronton truck transports 5 rits, arm roll truck transports 1 rit and pick up car transports 1 rits," he told.

The agency continues to transport waste at water gates that are spread across Jakarta thus water in rivers and streams can flow smoothly.

"We will do our best," he stressed.
