Five Pumps Deployed to Accelerate Flood Handling in Teluk Gong

North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-department deployed 5 pumps to accelerate flood water drainage on Jalan Teluk Intan, Teluk Gong RW 15 Pejagalan Urban Village, Penjaringan.

We hope weather would be better and sea at low tide soon thus flooding could end

North Jakarta SDA Sub-department Head, Adrian Mara Maulana stated, those pumps consist of 2 floating pumps, 2 mobile pumps, and 1 jet fire pump.

"Jet fire pump has capacity of 400 liters per second, while floating pumps is 20 liters per second, and mobile pump 100 liters per second," he explained, Thursday (1/2).

Two Pump Cars Deployed to Drain Flood in Cilincing

According to him, flood water is as high as 1-1.5 meters since Wednesday (1/1). It is caused by heavy rain and sea at the high tide thus excess water can't be drained into the sea.

"We hope weather would be better and sea at low tide soon thus flooding could end," he conveyed.
