Night Public Services Favored by Residents

The integrated public services held at night by Central Jakarta Administration in local Population and Civil Registry Sub-Department, Jalan Kramat Lontar, RW 07, Kramat Urban Village, Senen Sub-District, Wednesday (9/17), was favored by the residents.

This activity is meant to help the residents who don’t have time to take care of various purposes from morning until afternoon

Based on beritajakarta.com observations last night, hundreds of people were seen forming lines to process various population administration matters, such as ID cards (KTP) renewal, family cards (KK), birth certificates, and temporary domicile letter (SKDS).

“This activity is meant to help the residents who don’t have time to take care of various purposes from morning until afternoon,” stated Central Jakarta Administration Secretary, Bayu Megantara.

Public Services in Jakarta Get Appreciations from International

In that occasion, underprivileged residents got free medication which held by Central Jakarta Social Sub-Department that was cooperating with Atmajaya Hospital.

“We’re cooperating with Atmajaya Hospital and holding free medication. For residents who are badly sick, they will be referred to the hospital,” said Head of Central Jakarta Social Sub-Department, Marjito.

Besides giving free medication, Central Jakarta Social Sub-Department was also distributing 150 staples packages to the residents.

“The packages contained various things, like rice, sugar, instant noodles, cooking oil, and ketchup,” told Marjito.

Chaerani (32), resident of RT 002/007 Kramat, admitted happy with this night public services and free medication.

“I’m thrilled. If could, this activity should be done more often, because we’re working until afternoon so we don’t have time to take care of carious needs in the urban village office. Added with free medication, the residents felt really helped,” she expressed.
