The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Vice Chairman Mohamad Taufik gave up 10 percent of his income to help flood victims, on Monday (1/6).

It was symbolically handed over to the Jakarta DPRD Secretary M. Yuliadi, to be given to organizations or agencies that are directly engaged in the field helping citizens.
This council vice chairman disclosed that many of their belongings were broken, including mattresses, televisions, cabinets, etc.

Aside that he gave appreciation to the governor who has held cleanup action in locations stricken by flooding.
"I think the condition of the settlements and environment must be recovered, especially in terms of cleanliness. I see the response of people in flooded locations is also very good," he closed.
