The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Commission A Chairman Mujiyono revealed the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) in the government sector should optimize the 2020 budget absorption.

"If its absorption is high, program planning will run well. Thus it can bring many benefis to the community, as most of the budget comes from the payment of citizens' taxes," he discloses, Tuesday (1/7).

To achieve it, various obstacles that can hamper budget absorption should be anticipated.

"When citizens have fulfilled their obligations, they should get their rights, including enjoying the benefits of development programs, either physical or non physical," he explained.

He also suggested the OPD as the person responsible for using the budget immediately conduct an evaluation, including taking quick and precise steps to get more optimal performance.

"We want everything that has been planned can be executed properly, he stated.
