Dozens of people with social welfare issues (PMKS) were netted by Satpol PP officers assisted by police during raid in Tebet area, Saturday (9/29) yesterday. 

Such raid has involved tens of joint personnel consist of 18 personnel of Social Sub-Department, 15 personnel of Satpol PP, and 10 personnel of Tebet Sector Police. The raid itself is focused on markets, bus terminals, train stations, and junctions. And they managed to net 16 PMKS.

"Those netted PMKS are thugs, street musicians, and Pak Ogah (unemployed people who manage traffic for money from motorists)," said Head of Service and Social Rehabilitation Section for South Jakarta Social Sub-Department, April Astuti, Sunday (9/21).

As planned, personnel will bring them to the Kedoya Bina Insan Social Institution (PBSI), West Jakarta, for guidance.

"The PMKS will be rehabilitated thus they can live normally. While for those who are from outside Jakarta will be returned to the hometown," he expressed.
