We have netted more than 6,000 PMKS since the beginning of Ramadan
“We have netted more than 6,000 PMKS since the beginning of Ramadan,” stated Head of Jakarta Satpol PP, Kukuh Hadi Santoso, Thursday (7/17).
Among the locations where those PMKS netted are Fatmawati, Coca-Cola, Kuningan Mampang, Kelapagading, TMII, Pramuka, and Matraman junctions. The netted PMKS were directly sent to social institutions belong to Jakarta Social Department, namely Bina Insan, Bina Insan Bangun Daya 2, Tunas Bangsa, Cipayung, Bina Laras, Kedoya, and Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 1.
Giving Money to PMKS, You Will Be Fined Rp 30 MAccording to Santoso, the netted PMKS come from areas outside Jakarta, such as Tangerang, Banten, as well as cities in West Java and Central Java. Because of that, his party was having difficulties in identifying those PMKS when entering the capital city.
“We were having trouble identifying them when about to enter border areas, because they dressed neat, so they did not look like PMKS. They were also organized, though netted PMKS refused to disclose the names of their coordinators. But, we’ll keep looking for their coordinators,” he uttered.
Santoso stressed that Satpol PP’s duty is only holding control. As for the netted PMKS, they were directly handed out to Jakarta Social Department to be recorded, taken their pictures, and signed agreement letter will not return to Jakarta. If they returned and netted again, they will be instantly criminalized. This policy is in accordance to the instruction from Acting Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama.
“Jakarta Social Department has scheduled to send some of the PMKS back to their hometowns, because the social institutions are no longer able to accommodate them,” he told.
