Imlek Holiday, 1,453 Tourists Have Visited Tidung Island

It has been noted that as many as 1,453 tourists have visited Tidung Island area, South Thousand Islands Sub-district through during Imlek (Chinese New Year) holiday yesterday, Saturday (1/25). 

They (tourists) come using fast and traditional vessel transportation

"They (tourists) come using fast and traditional vessel transportation," reported Jakarta Transportation Agency's Regional Port Operator Unit (UPPD) for Tidung Island Port Head, Khairul Khairul.

The number of vessels leaning on the TIdung Island main port was recorded as 12 vessels consisting of five fast vessels, six traditional vessels and two vessels belonging to the Jakarta Transportation Agency.

"They depart from Ancol Pier, Kaliadem Pier and Tangerang," he told.

Tidung Island Urban Village Head Hafsah added, to maintain cleanliness in several tourist sites, a number of PPSU members and coastal officers have been alerted to those sites.

"There are also Satpol PP personnel. It aims to create a sense of safe and comfort for tourists," he said.
