Jakarta Council (DPRD) encouraged the Culture Department to hold more cultural events in Jakarta. Thus local cultures could be sustained as time develops.

"We encourage them to hold more cultural events. Don't let the culture to be vanished because culture has no limits," asserted DPRD Commission E Chairman, Iman Satria, Tuesday (2/4).
Regarding to this matter, Jakarta Culture Department Head, Iwan Henry Wardhana responded it that there would be 5 cultural events this year, starts from June to December.
Commission E Discusses Function of Hospital's Supervisory Board"Those events are Bedug Festival, Pencak Silat Festival, Children and Students Theater Festival, Cross-Cultural Parade Festival, and Theater Festival," he stated.
