Ruang Musik Marti Performance Receives Appreciation from MRT Users

The Ruang Musik Marti which is a music performance at the HI Roundabout MRT Station from Saturday (2/8) until today, received appreciation from MRT users and street musicians as performers.

The presented music is good, I am quite entertained and enjoyed it

Street Music Institute (IMJ) Founder Andi Malewa said this activity provided an opportunity for musicians to work.

"Musicians just want space to work. This activity gave us that opportunity," he expressed, at the location Sunday (2/9).

After performing at the MRT station, he hoped that many parties would provide opportunities for his communities to appear and express themselves in the public sphere.

Firmansyah (33), one of MRT users admitted the event was quite entertaining.

"The presented music is good, I am quite entertained and enjoyed it," he told.

He hoped that PT MRT Jakarta could continue to facilitate street musicians thus many people can enjoy their talents.

Musical Notes vocalist, Sisilia, one of the groups who performed admitted that she was happy as it could entertain the public.

"So happy, because it can entertain many people. Currently the city has also a lot of space, especially for people with disabilities like me," she stated.
