Five Markets in South Jakarta are Negative from Harmful Substances

After passing through a routine supervision yesterday, the South Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency ensures food products sold in five markets in South Jakarta are safe from harmful substances.

There are 341 samples of food samples examined in such markets

Those five markets are Sunday Market, Lenteng Agung Market, Warung Buncit Market, Cidodol Market and supermarket in Cilandak.

"There are 341 samples of food samples examined in such markets, with details 184 agricultural samples, 44 animal husbandry samples and 113 fishery samples," said South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Hasudungan, Wednesday (2/19).

Early February, Food Inspection will Be Held in Several Markets in South Jakarta

In this year, there will be 27 food product inspections.

He furthered the parameters test for foodstuffs of agricultural products used are pesticide tests. While formalin test is used for fisheries and livestock products.

"For animal husbandry products such as chickens use the decay test," he stated.
