OJK Encourages Bank DKI Continues to Develop BUMD Synergy

The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has a plan to make the Regional Development Bank (BPD) to host its region for regional development and develops the potential of the region to become the main capital for regional development.

Therefore they persuaded the Bank DKI to continuously build BUMD synergy thus the BPD could make them as a pilot.

He explains, the BPD is a bank that knows the culture and character of its regional. That is why, his party encouraged them to be more advanced than now.

To realize that, the OJK drafted a master plan 2020-2024 containing several things, namely to strengthen resilience and competitiveness by consolidating and strengthening capital. Second is transformation of BPD into digital systems and digitization. Fourth is about to increase financial inclusion literacy. Fifth is acceleration and expansion of technology-based supervision, as well as scale up of the industrial economy through a scale of minimum increase and acceleration of consolidation and mitigation of existing risks.

"They must be more advanced and more useful to local communities, as well as must be able to consolidate solving their issues. Be the host in your home," he expressed.

Bank DKI President Director Zainuddin Mappa uttered his party continues to build BUMD synergy in Jakarta. As for types of synergy between Bank DKI and BUMD in Jakarta, among others is synergy in the transportation sector by accommodating non-cash services via JakCard in Transjakarta, MRT, Railink and commuter line.

"We also do it in food security sector between Bank DKI along with Food Station by providing Trader Cards at the Cipinang Market, along with Pasar Jaya by providing a Monas Savings Business Housing," he explained.

It also touches UMKM sector along with the PPKUKM Agency for credit programs to participants of Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT).

There is also tourism sector with PT Jakarta Tourisindo for the utilization of banking services and hospitality services by providing access to financing facilities and e-channel services, namely the Cash Management System (CMS).

"Banking facility services are in the form of opening a savings account, deposits, giro (current accounts) and provision of mortgage facilities to the employees of PT Jakarta Tourisindo," he closed.
