Many people visit this place for exercising on the weekends

Not only big trees and flowers, but this 12-square meter green open space is also equipped with playground and sport facilities. No wonder there are many people visit this place.

Junaedi (56), resident of RT 02/04 of Petukangan Utara, explained, formerly this area was an untreated swamp and filled with wild plants and semi-permanent huts.

"This land used to be owned by individual. Around 2014, it was bought by Jakarta Provincial Government. From 2015, it was rearranged into a clean and beautiful green open space," he said, Wednesday (3/4).

After the arrangement, local residents use this place to interact with others. Besides, there are many facilities that can be used such as playground, futsal court, volleyball court, jogging track, and benches.

"It is very useful for the locals. Many people visit this place for exercising on the weekends," he added.

Erni, one of the security guards of Swadarma RTH mentioned, this RTH is installed with iron fence around the area and guarded by 6 security guards for 24 hours in shift.

"It is also equipped with toilet and janitor to ensure visitors' comfort," he conveyed.
