Commission A Appreciates Body Temperature Checks at Public Service Offices

We also greatly support it

The Jakarta DPRD's Commission A Chairman Mujiyono, Wednesday (3/4), appreciated the Jakarta Provincial Government's anticipatory way using thermal scanners to defend against the COVID-19 at the City Hall.

"We also greatly support it. It is hoped that public service offices up to the urban village level can do the same," he expressed, at the City Council building.

According to him, similar action should also be done in crowded places, including shopping centers and traditional markets.

"Hopefully it can also be applied at City Council building," he explained.

He added the availability of soap and hand sanitizer should also be the focus of attention.

"It must be available in strategic locations and easily accessible," he stressed.

He also encouraged the related regional apparatus organizations (OPD) to provide facilities and infrastructure to optimally prevent the spread of coronavirus.

"Mr. Governor has issued Gubernatorial Regulation number 16/2020 on Increasing Alertness to the Risk of COVID-19 transmission. I think it can be covered through APBD by postal unexpected costs," he stated.
