In order to keep food supplies safe during Ramadan, her side will import as well as distribute sugar supplies in the warehouse. For eggs, her side will coordinate with egg farmers from Blitar, East Java to supply egg during Ramadan.

"For garlic, we still wait for import recommendation from Agriculture Ministry. While for chili, our farmer partners have harvested the chili. Then, rice supply remains safe until Eid," she explained.

According to her, food supplies are relatively safe after Jakarta Government has three Controlled Atmosphere Storage (CAS) machines with capacity of 16 and 60 tons at Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. Those machines can store chili and garlic commodities in a good condition for around 4-5 months.

"Citizens shouldn't worry. We have CAS machines that help us to store the commodities for months," she expressed.
